Overview

This sulfate-free exfoliating gel cleanser is designed to gently slough away dead skin cells, improve the texture of the skin, and improve uneven skin tone. With the aid of plant botanicals, glycolic acid, and jojoba beads, skin appears brighter, fine lines are diminished, and blemish prone skin is improved.

Directions for Use
Recommend to use 2 to 3 times a week. Can be used AM or PM as an exfoliation treatment. Apply small amount to face and massage gently and then rinse off with water. Pro tip: Once a week, apply and let sit on skin for 5 minutes for a deeper exfoliation treatment. Follow with serum and moisturizer.

Glycolic acid: Exfoliating agent that exhibits keratolytic properties which exfoliates dead skin cells from the surface, reduces existing lines and wrinkles and decreases irregular pigmentation. Keratolytic: compounds that break down the outer layers of the skin.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine: Acts as a mild, amphoteric surfactant. It is derived from coconut oil. Amphoteric surfactants have low irritation to human eyes, skin and mucous membranes, stability under extreme pH conditions, and synergy with other formulation components. Good biodegradability. Bactericidal and antifungal properties.

Dimethyl Sulfone (MSM): Bioavailable source of topical sulfur

Aloe Vera Leaf Juice: A medicinal plant that has been used for centuries for its therapeutic properties: this healing plant consists of a range of compounds including water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins, minerals, enzymes, polysaccharides, and phenolic compounds. Polyphenols are secondary plant metabolites with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity.

Ganoderma Lucidum (Organic Reishi): Extracted from the caps and stalks of the mushroom, it contains ganoderic acids (antioxidant and anti-inflammatory), mannitol (humectant properties) and cocoumarins (anti-inflammatory/antioxidant/antimicrobial properties) as active compounds. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties are due to ergosterol, a fungal sterol. Moreover, it exhibits anti-allergic effects due to the presence of linoleic, oleic, stearic and palmitic acid by preventing the release of histamine. It can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase in melanocytes thus inhibiting the formation of melanin.

Salix Alba Bark (Organic Willow Bark) Extract: Cleansing, soothing, anti-inflammatory and anti-acne agent. Contains salicylates that can gently exfoliate and help treat problem skin for a smoother, more even complexion.
