Directions for Use
Apply serum to cleansed face, neck and decollate in the evening while avoiding the eye area. Apply moisturizer on top. NOTE: Use only as directed. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Prior to sun exposure, users should cover areas where alpha hydroxy acids have been applied with sunblock.

Kojic Acid: Tyrosinase Inhibitor: inhibits tyrosinase activity thus suppresses melanogenesis, balances uneven skin tone.

Salix Alba Bark (Organic Willow Bark) Extract: Contains salicylates that can gently exfoliate and help treat hyperpigmented skin for a smoother, more even complexion.

Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E):An important fat-soluble antioxidant that protects against cellular damage and contains anti-inflammatory properties. Tocopheryl Acetate is made through a chemical reaction between tocopherol (a natural form of vitamin E) and acetic acid. The compound is a synthetic form of vitamin E that has the same antioxidant properties as the natural form. It protects the skin from ultraviolet radiation by acting as a free-radical scavenger and protects the skin from environmental stressors such as pollution, toxins, chemicals, and smoke.

Glycolic Acid: Helps desquamate away old skin cells so they can be replaced with newer less hyper-pigmented skin cells.

Organic Reishi: Acts as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agent. Also exhibits moderate tyrosinase inhibition when compared to kojic acid. It is an extract of the caps and stalks of mushroom, ganoderma lucidum. It contains ganoderic acids, mannitol and coumarins as active compounds. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties are due to ergosterol, a fungal sterol. Moreover, it shows anti-allergic effects due to the presence of linoleic-, oleic-, stearic-and palmitic acid by preventing the release of histamine.
